The Salmagundi Club will be hosting an exhibition in the club library featuring portraits, still lives, and landscapes by Frank Mason during the month of December. The central theme for this exhibition will concentrate on the world of literature. There are selections from this show in the Special Exhibitions area on the website for a preview of works in the show

The Salmagundi Club is located at 47 5th Avenue on the corner of 12th Street.
The library is open weekdays from 1pm to 5pm. Salmagundi Art Club

Grand Prior portrait on view before it goes to Venice
Art Student's League window

In addition to the Salmagundi exhibition, Frank Mason’s portrait of "His Excellency Fra Roggero Caccia Dominioni, Grand Prior of Lombardy and Venice for the Sovereign Military Order of Malta" will be on view in the window of the Art Student's League window (far left side) at 215 West 57th Street between 7th Avenue and Broadway from December 15th through January 15th. The portrait will be on display 24 hours a day. This will be the last time to view this painting before it travels to Venice, Italy to reside in the 11th century Church of San Giovanni di Malta.

The galleries featuring Frank's work are here. They came along beautifully and will be a great place to enjoy Frank's work and see the great many things he has done over the years, the people and places he's painting, the imagination & talent will be on full display. It will be a comprehensive overview of Mason's long career as an artist

The galleries are now approaching about 350 works from Frank's career as an artist. This will be one of the most comprehensive websites on a painter anywhere.

Frank Mason's 85th Birthday party & exhibition at the Salmagundi Club

Franks' 85th birthday party at the Salmagundi club on Saturday night, Feb 18th was a smashing success. The exhibition celebrating the 85th birthday of Frank Mason in the main gallery had over 60 paintings -including portraits, landscapes, figure compositions & still life's on display in honor of this event photos from Frank's celebration.
